Tullio Inglese has been sponsored by the American Hardwood Export Council to conduct workshops in Japan regarding the ecological benefits of using wood in construction, as well as principles of ecological architecture at large. The workshops are attended by engineers and architects from around the world.
Accompanied by a translator, Tullio Inglese has traveled to various cities in Japan, discussing his design philosophy and also taking field trips to building projects in both urban and rural locations. For the most part, these have been facilitated by his friend, the well know Japanese architect, Hiroshi Hasegawa, and also by his former associate at TIA Architects, Mutsumi Yoshifusa.
